Nature’s Grandeur

I press the shutter, imagining that instant when the image, traveling at three hundred thousand meters per second, crashes onto the receptive surface. Everything happens in that brief lapse of time as the film is bombarded with ions and photons, particles of energy. The impact is violent. A kind of big bang. A micro-temporality where blue, red, and yellow merge. Time stands still. Yet, a fraction of a second earlier, darkness reigned. Blackness was simply waiting to meet the light. From this collision emerged an image worth a thousand words.

The Mountain

Outside, the wind is raging. The air grows thin. Every step, every breath demands a superhuman effort. I lean on my poles, my eyes turning toward the glacier. In the alpine night, a constellation of mountaineers traces luminous arabesques. The wind scatters the sky with frozen fireflies. They mark the path to follow.

Water, sea and shore

Water, the sea, and the shore create a fascinating universe, where nature and poetry converge. At the boundary between land and sea, the shore is a place of passage and contemplation. Here, time seems suspended, paced by the tides — a silent witness to a world in perpetual motion.

The forest

A refuge of life and imagination, the forest wraps around us, inviting us to slow down. It imposes its own rhythm, breathing with the wind, letting light filter through where the foliage consents to welcome it. Then, as winter settles in, it becomes Sleeping Beauty.

Contemplation

Mountains, water, and forest form a triptych where nature reveals its strength. The mountains rise, sculpted by wind and time. Water shapes, polishes, sculpts, carves, and nourishes the earth. The forest transforms with each season. Together, they create unique landscapes where we go to reconnect with ourselves.
